New High-Efficiency Wide Band BDA Featuring Full Band Automatic Tx/Rx Switching

Triad introduces the TTRM1210, a wideband GaN BDA that operates from 30 MHz to 2700 MHz, and produces over 8W of peak Tx power. One of the smallest BDAs in the industry measuring only 3.25 x 2.12 x 0.53 inches, this feature rich BDA is also one of the most efficient. While producing 8W of RF power, it only consumes 24W of DC power. It also produces over 2W of linear 16 QAM power with < 9% EVM. This BDA's small size and high efficiency make it ideal for SWaP friendly commercial and military software defined radio (SDR) applications.In order to be compatible with a wide variety of existing platforms, the TTRM1210 offers the option of Automatic Tx/Rx switching across its entire operating frequency band, as well as a wide DC input range of +11 to +28 VDC. Regardless of the selected option, switching between Tx and Rx takes less than 1 µsec. Triad Ships New GaN Wideband Bi-Directional Amplifier

Triad has released the TTRM1200, a wideband GaN BDA that operates from 30 MHz to 2700 MHz and produces over 8W of TX power. One of our smallest BDAs measuring only 3.25 x 2.42 x 0.54 inches, this feature rich BDA is also one of the most efficient. While producing 8W of RF power, it only consumes 24W of DC power. It also produces over 2W of linear 16 QAM power with < 9% EVM.In order to operate on various existing platforms, the unit features a wide DC input range of +12 to +30 VDC. Switching between TX and RX takes less than 1 µsec and can be performed manually. Triad RF Ships 30 MHz – 2500 MHz Bench Top Amplifier

Triad RF ships the TB1003 to a US government test laboratory. The bench top power amplifier operates from 30 MHz to 2500 MHz. It has a built-in VAC power supply and is fan cooled for optimal performance. Female N-Type connectors are on the front panel for both RF IN and RF OUT. An LED power switch is also on the front panel and is lit when the power is ON.

Almost all of Triad RF’s amplifiers can be installed into our bench top enclosure. Various power supplies can also be installed depending on the customer’s preferences. Call for more details.

Triad Receives Order for Linear Wideband Amplifier

Triad RF receives an order for several wideband linear power amplifiers. The TA1148 operates from 800 MHz to 2.5 GHz and produces more than 10W of power at P1dB. The unit is linear enough to produce 4W to 5W of LTE power. The +12V amplifiers will be used in commercial data links and further orders are expected at the end of Q1, 2016.

Triad RF Receives More Orders of Wideband Amplifiers from Tier 1 Test Equipment Manufacturer

Triad RF has received more orders for its new TA1164-HS which operates from 900 to 6000 MHz with 20W peak power. The RoHs compliant unit is used in semiconductor test systems for next generation wireless networking ICs. Both GaAs and GaN FETs were utilized to achieve the customer’s dual-use requirements for a low EVM, multi-octave BW amplifier that was also capable of higher power output for CW signals at saturation. Higher production orders are expected in Q1 2016.

Triad RF Receives a Development Order for 500 MHz to 18 GHz Bench Top Amplifier

Triad RF received a development order for a 1 Watt Bench Top amplifier that operates from 500 MHz to 18 GHz. The unit will run off of 110 VAC and be internally cooled. The amplifier will be used in a test system by a major component manufacturer. Delivery is expected mid Q1 2016.

Triad RF Develops Rack Amplifier with Android Touch Screen

Triad RF develops the TR1007, a 20W wideband GaN amplifier. This unit operates from 700 MHz to 6000 MHz and will be used in Australia for wireless research. The amplifier will be the first to implement our touch-screen utilizing an Anroid operating system which allows the user to control the attenuation of the amplifier, plus monitor the core temperature of the modules. The 19 inch rack will be delivered in mid-October.
