Triad RF Systems has received confirmation of the successful field operation of the TA1109, which is currently aboard CubeSat chassis flying in Low Earth Orbit (LEO).

The TA1109 operates from 2000 to 2500 MHz and provides 4 Watts of output power, ensuring proper and consistent communication at distances in excess of 2000 km or 1200 miles. Weighing less than an ounce and smaller than a credit card, the TA1109 is ideal for even the smallest CubeSat systems. This amplifier uses a circuit card form factor, making it easily integrated into a wide array of custom CubeSat communication systems.

Triad Ships S-Band to X-Band Frequency Translating CubeSat/NanoSat Amplifier

The TFTA1003 is a small form factor, lightweight circuit card amplifier that has been designed to be integrated into existing CubeSat and NanoSat satellite systems.

Up-converting from S-Band in order to communicate with existing X-Band Systems, the TFTA1003 can be easily integrated into existing systems with minimal equipment changes. This amplifier also offers up to 4W of output power to ensure proper communication while operating in Low Earth orbit (LEO).

Smaller than a credit card and weighing in at less than a half an ounce, the TFTA1003 is perfect for applications where small size and light weight is critical.

With a voltage input range of +10 to +14 VDC, the TFTA1003 is versatile enough to operate on a range of available voltage buses typically found on a CubeSat chassis.

The TA1120 is a small form factor, lightweight circuit card amplifier that has been designed to be integrated into existing CubeSat and NanoSat satellite systems.

Operating from 380 to 470 MHz, the TA1120 is compatible with most UHF transmitters. This amplifier also offers up to 4W of output power to ensure proper communication while operating in Low Earth orbit (LEO).

New Triad CubeSat/NanoSat Amplifier Destined for Space

Triad has designed and launched the new TA1109, a small form factor circuit card amplifier designed to be integrated into CubeSat and NanoSat satellite systems. Weighing in at less than a half an ounce, the TA1109 is perfect for applications where small size and weight reduction is critical. Operating at 2000-2500 MHz, the TA1109 offers up to 4W of output power, with a voltage input range of +9 to +14 VDC.

Triad Designs Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA) for CubeSat and NanoSat Systems

The TA1181 has been designed for use from 400 to 450 MHz, and is typically used in but not limited to CubeSat and NanoSat GCS (Ground Station) applications. This amplifier module has a maximum out power of 158 Watts and can be used with a multitude of waveforms, from GMSK/BPSK up to highly modulated signals such as 64QAM and 256QAM for higher data rate applications.
This unit features high speed on/off control, over and under voltage protection, and temperature monitoring all packed into a small form factor.
