Triad Ships S-Band to X-Band Frequency Translating CubeSat/NanoSat Amplifier

The TFTA1003 is a small form factor, lightweight circuit card amplifier that has been designed to be integrated into existing CubeSat and NanoSat satellite systems.

Up-converting from S-Band in order to communicate with existing X-Band Systems, the TFTA1003 can be easily integrated into existing systems with minimal equipment changes. This amplifier also offers up to 4W of output power to ensure proper communication while operating in Low Earth orbit (LEO).

Smaller than a credit card and weighing in at less than a half an ounce, the TFTA1003 is perfect for applications where small size and light weight is critical.

With a voltage input range of +10 to +14 VDC, the TFTA1003 is versatile enough to operate on a range of available voltage buses typically found on a CubeSat chassis.

Triad Designs and Ships 4 Watt UHF CubeSat/NanoSat Amplifier

The TA1120 is a small form factor, lightweight circuit card amplifier that has been designed to be integrated into existing CubeSat and NanoSat satellite systems.

Operating from 380 to 470 MHz, the TA1120 is compatible with most UHF transmitters. This amplifier also offers up to 4W of output power to ensure proper communication while operating in Low Earth orbit (LEO).

Weighing in at less than a half an ounce and smaller than a credit card, the TA1120 is perfect for applications where small size and light weight is critical.

With a voltage input range of +9 to +14 VDC, the TA1120 is versatile enough to operate on a range of available voltage buses typically found on a CubeSat chassis.

Triad RF order to Develop Linearized 1.9 GHz LTE/WCDMA Amplifier

Triad RF received a development order for high linear LTE/WCDMA amplifiers to cover the 1.9 GHz band. The amplifier will implement the latest GaN devices on the market as well as its closed loop pre-distortion circuits. This stand-alone 100 Watt module will be used to transmit WiFi signals from trains to base-stations along the train route. Triad’s amplifier expertise along with it’s customer service secured this order.

Triad RF Receives More Orders of Wideband Amplifiers from Tier 1 Test Equipment Manufacturer

Triad RF has received more orders for its new TA1164-HS which operates from 900 to 6000 MHz with 20W peak power. The RoHs compliant unit is used in semiconductor test systems for next generation wireless networking ICs. Both GaAs and GaN FETs were utilized to achieve the customer’s dual-use requirements for a low EVM, multi-octave BW amplifier that was also capable of higher power output for CW signals at saturation. Higher production orders are expected in Q1 2016.

Triad RF Receives a Development Order for 500 MHz to 18 GHz Bench Top Amplifier

Triad RF received a development order for a 1 Watt Bench Top amplifier that operates from 500 MHz to 18 GHz. The unit will run off of 110 VAC and be internally cooled. The amplifier will be used in a test system by a major component manufacturer. Delivery is expected mid Q1 2016.

Triad RF receives a follow-on order for the Dual Bi-directional TTRM1078D

Triad RF receives a follow-on order for the TTRM1078D, an S-Band Dual Bi-directional amplifier operating from 2.2 to 2.5 GHz. The unit was designed to work with 2 x 2 MIMO radios and extend their coverage area with over 20 dB of TX gain and 10 dB of RX gain. Each amplifier produces 3 Watts of 802.11G power and over 12 Watts of 802.11B power. The unit has manual switching between TX and RX modes with switching times <1 usec. The unit’s compact size measuring 4.0(L) x 4.2(W) x 0.8(H) inches allows for easy integration with the radio.

Triad RF delivers TA1151 in less than 3 weeks

Triad RF delivers the TA1151 in less than 3 weeks to a digital television broadcast manufacture for a 3 GHz DVB-T system. Utilizing the TA1025 platform, new multi-layer RF boards were designed, then assembled and tested within the 3 week window required by the customer. Over 1W of COFDM is provided by the 5W P1dB amplifier.
