New Triad CubeSat/NanoSat Amplifier Destined for Space

Triad has designed and launched the new TA1109, a small form factor circuit card amplifier designed to be integrated into CubeSat and NanoSat satellite systems. Weighing in at less than a half an ounce, the TA1109 is perfect for applications where small size and weight reduction is critical. Operating at 2000-2500 MHz, the TA1109 offers up to 4W of output power, with a voltage input range of +9 to +14 VDC.

Triad Designs and Ships GaN ENG Broadcast Amplifier

The new TA1205 is a GaN amplifier that operates at 3000-3600 MHz and offers an output power of up to 10 Watts. It boasts a small form factor and light weight, while keeping a high power output which makes it ideal for ENG Broadcast applications where distance and mobility is key.

Triad Designs Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA) for CubeSat and NanoSat Systems

The TA1181 has been designed for use from 400 to 450 MHz, and is typically used in but not limited to CubeSat and NanoSat GCS (Ground Station) applications. This amplifier module has a maximum out power of 158 Watts and can be used with a multitude of waveforms, from GMSK/BPSK up to highly modulated signals such as 64QAM and 256QAM for higher data rate applications.
This unit features high speed on/off control, over and under voltage protection, and temperature monitoring all packed into a small form factor.

Triad Ships The TA1186Q-HS to One Of The World’s Largest Test And Measurement Companies

Triad RF has provided one of the largest test and measurement companies with the TA1186Q-HS to be used in a semiconductor test rack application. This 20 Watt amplifier operates in a frequency range from 800 MHz to 6 GHz, making it a versatile solution for many test applications.

Triad RF Receives More Orders of Wideband Amplifiers from Tier 1 Test Equipment Manufacturer

Triad RF has received more orders for its new TA1164-HS which operates from 900 to 6000 MHz with 20W peak power. The RoHs compliant unit is used in semiconductor test systems for next generation wireless networking ICs. Both GaAs and GaN FETs were utilized to achieve the customer’s dual-use requirements for a low EVM, multi-octave BW amplifier that was also capable of higher power output for CW signals at saturation. Higher production orders are expected in Q1 2016.

Triad RF receives further orders for the 2.4 GHz bi-directional TTRM1004

Triad RF continues to receive new orders for the TTRM1004, our 2.4 GHz bi-directional amplifier. The transmit portion of this amplifier provides five (5) Watts of 802.11G power. The receive section provides 11 dB of linear gain to increase the performance of the radio front end. Various versions of this model have sold including auto-switching between TX and RX, manual switching via a TTL line, and DC connector changes to pass strict military regulations. Units will ship out before year end.

Triad RF receives an international order for an 800 MHz-6.0 GHz, 16W rack

Triad RF receives a development order from an international customer for an 800 MHz – 6.0 GHz, 16W amplifier housed in a 19 inch rack for a physics lab application. All monitoring and control functions of this GaN amplifier will be accessed via a new touch screen front panel. The SSPA will also incorporate a single-board computer (SBC) running the Android operating system, an industry first. The amplifier will ship Q1 of 2014.

Triad RF receives a production order for the wideband 1 watt TA1025

Triad RF receives a production order from a domestic provider of surveillance systems for the TA1025. This wideband amplifier provides one (1) Watt of COFDM power. We were able to ship the first Line Item in less than 3 weeks due to anticipation of the order and having stock on hand. We then expedited the next Line Item to meet the customers schedules and shipped on time. Shipments will continue for the rest of 2013 into 2014
