Triad RF Ships Amplifier Systems to Leading UAV Manufacturer in Israel

Triad RF Systems has fulfilled an order placed by a leading Israeli UAV manufacturer which specializes in L-band and S-band HD video, telemetry, and command and control data links. This order includes the TTRM1115-D01, a 2.4 – 2.5 GHz, 12 Watt Bi-Directional SSPA and the TTRM1116-D01, a 1.2 – 1.4 GHz, 50 Watt Bi-Directional SSPA.

Using these amplifier systems from Triad RF, a UAV data link distance of over 120 km was demonstrated.

Triad RF Begins Shipment of High-Power Amplifier Solutions to Leading CubeSat Manufacturer

Triad RF Systems has begun shipments of the TTRR1086 to a leading CubeSat manufacturer for use in a UHF ground station application. This rack-mounted amplifier is capable of over 180 Watts of transmit power and has two redundant Tx/Rx pathways, making it an ideal solution for SatCom applications.

Triad RF Ships TTRM1078D Amplifiers to Leading Aerospace Manufacturer

One of the leading manufacturers in the Aerospace industry has placed an order with Triad RF Systems for a TTRM1078D. The TTRM1078D is a Dual Band, 20W Bi-Directional Amplifier and operates in the 2200 MHz to 2500 MHz range.

Triad RF ships the S-Band duel bi-directional TTRM1078D

Triad RF ships the TTRM1078D, an S-Band DUAL bi-directional amplifier operating from 2.2 to 2.5 GHz. The unit was designed to work with 2 x 2 MIMO radios and extend their coverage area with over 20 dB of TX gain and 10 dB of RX gain. Each amplifier produces 3 Watts of 802.11G power and over 12 Watts of 802.11B power. The unit has manual switching between TX and RX modes with switching times < 1 usec. The unit’s compact size measuring 4.0(L) x 4.2(W) x 0.8(H) inches allows for easy integration with the radio. Production of the TTRM1078D is expected in the second quarter of 2014. Other frequency bands from 400 MHz To 6 GHz will follow throughout 2014.

Triad RF receives follow-on order for multi-channel television broadcast amplifier

Triad RF receives a follow-on production order for high power linear amplifiers used in multi-channel television broadcast. Triad’s linear technology allows the customer to simultaneously transmit hundreds of TV channels along with wireless internet signals. Combined with our efficiency technology, the power consumption of the base station will decrease, allowing the TV provider to pass the savings on to the end-user. Low and high power versions were ordered with shipments in Q1 and Q2 2014.

Triad RF ships the C-Band bi-directional TTRM1008

Triad RF ships the TTRM1008, a C-Band bi-directional amplifier operating from 4.4 to 5.0 GHz. The unit produces 5 Watts of 64 QAM power and over 25 Watts of QPSK power. The unit has manual switching between TX and RX modes with switching times < 1 usec. Switching and timing functions are controlled by a complex programmable logic device (CPLD), a first for Triad. Other functions such as alarms and LED signals are also controlled by the CPLD. The unit is also one of the smallest in the industry, measuring 5.3(L) x 3.7(W) x 0.57(H) inches. Production of the TTRM1008 is expected in the first quarter of 2014. A 5.8 GHz version will also follow in early 2014.

Triad RF receives further orders for the 2.4 GHz bi-directional TTRM1004

Triad RF continues to receive new orders for the TTRM1004, our 2.4 GHz bi-directional amplifier. The transmit portion of this amplifier provides five (5) Watts of 802.11G power. The receive section provides 11 dB of linear gain to increase the performance of the radio front end. Various versions of this model have sold including auto-switching between TX and RX, manual switching via a TTL line, and DC connector changes to pass strict military regulations. Units will ship out before year end.

Triad RF receives a production order for the wideband 1 watt TA1025

Triad RF receives a production order from a domestic provider of surveillance systems for the TA1025. This wideband amplifier provides one (1) Watt of COFDM power. We were able to ship the first Line Item in less than 3 weeks due to anticipation of the order and having stock on hand. We then expedited the next Line Item to meet the customers schedules and shipped on time. Shipments will continue for the rest of 2013 into 2014

Triad RF ships the 300 Mhz 120 W TA1127 to India

Triad RF ships our new 120W, 300 MHz amplifier to a customer in India. The TA1127 will be implemented in a Software-defined Radio (SDR) platform whose end user is the Indian Navy. The units provide over 120 Watts and are 50% efficient at peak power across the 290 – 320 MHz frequency band. They also incorporated our VDSTM technology and provided the user with an input voltage range of +18 to + 36 VDC. Follow on orders are expected in 2014.
